It's no dirty little secret that The All-American Rejects have been teasing new music over the last several months. Ahead of performances at JonasCon and VANS Warped Tour this upcoming summer, the multiplatinum rock band confirmed they won't give us hell anymore - the lead single from their new album, due later this year, is entitled "Sandbox." The single will be released on April 24 and is just the start for this new era for the band comprised of lead singer and bassist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist and vocalist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor.

"Sandbox" joins recent singles from the band over the last few years, including "Flagpole Sitta," which was released ahead of their Twisted Christmas gigs at the end of 2024, and "Send Her to Heaven" and "Sweat," which were released on mini-EPs throughout the late 2010s.

With the announcement of the single (which will be released on Ritter's birthday), the band playfully teased "you wanted a new album, thanks for waiting" in their captions across social media. This new project would mark the All-American Rejects' first full-length project since 2012's Kids in the Street. So we won't be moving along or falling apart just yet, as "Sandbox" promises to be just the beginning of a huge year for the Rejects.
