Michael Clifford—iconic guitarist, powerhouse vocalist, and mastermind producer of 5 Seconds of Summer—is officially stepping into the solo spotlight! Fans have been begging for solo Michael music ever since he teased unreleased songs like "Bali" for his anniversary a few years ago, and now, the time has finally come. He’s making his long-awaited debut with his first-ever single, "Cool."

Over the weekend, Michael started the hype with some seriously eccentric nail art, and let’s just say, the clues have us spiraling (in the best way). Designs like "Am I Cool Enough? and a crescent moon featuring his daughter Lua’s name hint that there's plenty more in store.

From what we've seen so far, this era is serving major 2000s pop-punk energy, and honestly? We’re so here for it.

"Cool" drops next Wednesday, April 2, and is available to pre-save now.
