From orange glitter to that ever-lingering Sabrina Carpenter collaboration, Taylor Swift has announced her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and all the details surrounding the release, including its October 3 release date. Swift unveiled the album's title a few days prior to the rest of the album details alongside the announcement of her appearance on the New Heights podcast, where she revealed the album's artwork and tracklisting, as well as unveiled that this is the album that captured the intimacies of her life while on The Eras Tour.
The album is fully produced by Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback, which is the team that has brought about many prior Swift monster hits like "Style," "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "...Ready for It?," and "Shake It Off." Swift also unveiled the album's tracklisting, including "Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter)," which has been a collaboration fans of the two blond pop stars have been dreaming up ever since Carpenter took her last bow on The Eras Tour stage.
