Phoebe Bridgers Announces New Album, 'Lost Weekend', Her First in Six Years, Out August 14

She's been skirting on the edge of a comeback. She's made headlines for her phone-free pop-up shows, $1 tickets to her Madison Square Garden show, her phone-free arena tour that sold out with no new music in six years. Now she's back for real. Phoebe Bridgers has announced her third studio album, and first in six years, Lost Weekend, will be released August 14 via Dead Oceans. The first song from the album will be released Thursday, July 25.

Bridgers has been playing new music at her live shows throughout the spring, giving fans a taste of what she's been working on since her last album, 2020's Punisher. Bridgers last release was the massively successful the record from Boygenius, her project alongside Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.


With Lost Weekend, Bridgers returns from the major label releases of Boygenius to her indie label Dead Oceans, which she released her first two albums on.
