Ariana Grande is in full bloom. Two and a half years since she let the light in on eternal sunshine, Grande is growing through the cracks on her eighth studio album, petal, which will be released July 31 via Babydoll Music and Republic Records.
The Babydoll Music imprint indicates that petal will be the first project Grande owns the masters to, and the album artwork is further indication of the freedom Grande feels in releasing petal. Her first cover to be devoid of her signature ponytail, first since 2016's Dangerous Woman to return to black and white, and first to see Ariana with a sunny smile on her face.
petal will include twelve yet-to-be released tracks which were co-written and produced with her longtime collaborator Ilya, who worked with Grande on her fourth studio album, Sweetener.
Physical copies and new merchandise are available for preorder here. Preorder/presave petal here.
