Carly Rae Jepsen is back with double the music. The multi-platinum Canadian pop star has announced her new studio album, Day and Night, out September 18 via Interscope Records. Day and Night is a first for Jepsen - her first double album. With 12 songs for day and 12 songs for night, the 24-track project touches on all the sonic pieces of Jepsen's past. Day is organic and raw, with live instrumentation and hints of 70s-inspired psychedelic pop, while Night is exploratory and intense, shifting into a sleek, synth-driven world of dance pop.

Day and Night is the follow up to Jepsen's last two albums, 2022's The Loneliest Time and 2023's The Loveliest Time. With this new project, Jepsen pulls together her most cohesive artistic statement yet, compiling her lyrical and creative ventures with her rock-solid synth-pop identity. The project's first single, "On Wires," releases Friday, June 26.
