Alessi Rose Announces New Single, "same mouth," Out May 16

Alessi Rose is one of the fastest rising names in pop music, and she's got an addictive new single to back up her ever-blossoming rise to stardom. Rose is just wrapping up her spring For Your Validation Tour in support of her sophomore EP, for your validation, released earlier this year, and she teased the new song with a poster outside of Moroccan Lounge in Downtown Los Angeles before her first of two sold out shows at the venue. Gifting fans headphones upon entry to the venue and the directive to put them on when they heard Addison Rae's "Headphones On" on her preshow playlist, Rose gave fans the first listen of the studio version of new song after adding it to her setlist for a few shows on her first US headlining run.
She took to social media following the exclusive tease for fans to formally announce the single, entitled "same mouth," which will be released May 16. The release coincides with a huge year of live performances for Alessi, with upcoming gigs opening up for Dua Lipa and Tate McRae, along with a slew of festival appearances, on the horizon.
Alessi said, "It's been beyond fun playing it at the last few shows so I couldn't not give her to you now." She clarified the thematic direction of the new song, stating, "It's a song about someone's words not matching their actions and the horror/sadism/unfairness of wanting them in spite of that." She also teased that there's more to come, telling fans "And that's not all... but I shan't elaborate any further for now... Love you we are about to have a whole lot of fun."
