Reneé Rapp is the queen of the flirty tease, but she's back and ready to bite with her highly anticipated sophomore album. After unveiling her noncommittal BITE.ME website and chaotically urging to fans to "sign a hundred NDAs" to get access to the new music earlier this month, Reneé dropped "Leave Me Alone," the guitar-driven lead single for her new album, BITE ME, out August 1 via Interscope Records.
Reneé's return is laced with a sultry confidence that tops even that of her debut, Snow Angel, which earned her the largest first-week sales for a female artist’s debut album in the U.S. upon release. The broadway star-turned-popstar is doing things on her terms this time around, dropping the album announcement, "Leave Me Alone" music video, and physical preorders of BITE ME all at once. A woman true to her word, Reneé's sophomore project looks to embrace the chaotic and the confident and to find strength in being authentically, unapologetically herself.
