New Jersey native and Los Angeles-based artist Ally Salort steps into a luminous new era with her latest single, “I’ve Never Met Her.” The breezy pop release captures the feeling of shedding who you once were, blending warm, radiant production with vocals that feel both intimate and quietly powerful. Effortlessly light yet emotionally grounded, the track channels confidence, growth, and the thrill of reinvention. “I’ve Never Met Her” is available now via Disruptor Records/RCA Records.
The single arrives on the heels of October’s “We’re Not Friends,” a sharp and self-possessed anthem that leaned into honesty and emotional clarity. With that release, Salort sharpened her storytelling, revealing a boldness and lyrical precision that signaled a defining shift in her sound.
On the single, Ally shares: "’I’ve Never Met Her’ is a fun pop song about leaving a past version of yourself behind. It’s about giving yourself the permission to grow and not feel bad about it. It was very freeing to write and I hope it’s just as freeing to listen to whether that’s in the car, getting ready with friends, strutting down the street or dancing in your room with headphones."
Later this spring, Salort will take the stage across North America on tour with Charlie Puth.
