Ethel Cain Announces 'Preacher's Daughter' Prequel Album 'Willoughby Tucker, I Will Always Love You'

Ethel Cain has announced her second project of the year, continuing her prolific creative streak. Following the release of her experimental project Perverts in January, the singer-songwriter will return this August with her sophomore studio album, Willoughby Tucker, I Will Always Love You.
Described as a prequel to her acclaimed 2022 debut album, Preacher’s Daughter, the upcoming record is expected to further explore the haunting narratives and atmospheric soundscapes that have become hallmarks of Cain’s artistry. While Preacher’s Daughter follows the tragic journey of its protagonist, Willoughby Tucker, I Will Always Love You is anticipated to delve into the origins of her story, offering a deeper look at the characters and themes that define Cain’s gothic Americana universe.
To celebrate its release, Ethel Cain will embark on the 'Willoughby Tucker Forever' tour, which kicks off in North America this summer before heading to major UK and European venues in October and November.
