After a string of darkly sensation singles, Damiano David has announced his debut solo album, Funny Little Fears, which will be released May 16 via Arista Records. After having first found success as a piece of Italian rock band Måneskin, David looks to Funny Little Fears as an opportunity to shed the protection of the band and embrace his search for light among the dark. He shared, “I’ve always been afraid of heights, that any moment the ground breaks apart under my feet and in one second, everything’s gone. I’ve been afraid of darkness, an immensity I don’t get to see or understand, that might take me if I don’t watch my steps. I’ve been afraid of myself, asking for too much, chasing something I didn’t even know if I really wanted. And honestly sometimes I’m still scared, but I wrote myself a manual. Hope u find it helpful too. I called it Funny Little Fears.”
Physical copies of Funny Little Fears, including signed vinyl, exclusive vinyl pressings, and deluxe CDs are available on Damiano's online store. The announcement of Funny Little Fears comes ahead of a massive year of touring for David, with festivals and headlining shows scheduled globally from June to December.
